Orders and/or Invoices created by the handheld computers in
the field are uploaded to Microsoft Office Accounting
Express with the
Handheld
Management System (HMS)
for a standardized bundle reducing the total cost of
ownership.
A Pentium 2 Core Duo Personal Computer with 2 Gigabytes
of RAM and at least 40 Gigabytes of free disk space is
required.
The
Presell
bundle includes:
1.
Intermec CN3 handheld computer (128 MB RAM, 128 MB ROM) with Bluetooth,
802.11 (WiFi), scanner and a 128MB Mini-SD Card.
2.
CN3 dock with ActiveSync cable, Ethernet connection and power supply for
charging CN3.
3.
Data Concepts
MobilePDQ
and HMS license with the interface to Office Accounting Express 2008.
4.
Training documentation and five hours of phone support.
5. Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2008.
6.
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition.
The
Delivery
Bundle includes everything listed in the Presell Bundle plus
an
Intermec PB42 Portable Bluetooth 4” Thermal Printer for printing orders,
invoices, inventory and reports in the field.
Options to the Bundles include:

Global Positioning Service (GPS) receiver built into CN3
2.
Built-In Mobile Phone (WWAN) GSM/GPRS/EDGE (G2/65) or
CDMA/1xRTT/EVDO (CX) support. NOTE: Activation is required.
3.
DEX/UCS 5010 Solution for transmitting invoice information directly to the
retailer’s computer.
4. CN3 Holster
Microsoft Financing (loan) or leasing offered by
FinancialLogic, Inc.,
a financial services company focused on serving the funding needs of
companies using route automation.
