The salesperson after completing the sales
order plugs his handheld computer into a RCA style phone jack located
at the store
location. The orders are transferred electronically to the stores' computer system.
The store receiver either accepts or modifies the order. The salesperson
either accepts the change or rejects the modification which results in that particular
product not being delivered. It is important that the distributor and the grocery
chain keep pricing and discounts synchronized.
Data Concepts' MobilePDQ DEX application is certified
with CVS Pharmacy and other major retailers.
It is backward compatible with DEX 4010. Our DEX solution
supports UCC 12, EAN/UCC-8, EAN/UCC-13, EAN/UCC 14. The
retailer may change quantity and pricing several times
which the salesperson (supplier)may accept or reject by
setting the item quantity to zero.
MobilePDQ supports optional printing of a final invoice
after completion of the DEX transaction.
