HMS uses Microsoft
SQL Server performing the critical data exchange between your accounting
software and the handheld computers. Data is transferred database to database securely
and error-free using SQL Mobile and SQL Server.
New or modified information may be sent to all the handhelds (global)
or sent to just one specific handheld (route specific).
Any data changes are downloaded (transmitted) to the handheld during the telecommunication
process (TCOM). New information such as price changes, product changes or customer
changes is transferred or downloaded into the handhelds.
