We value our partnerships with Avnet Technologies, Bluestar, Microsoft Corporation, Intermec Technologies, Motorola (Symbol) and Datamax-O'Neil. We source Intermec handheld computers and printers and O'Neil printers from Bluestar. We source Motion Tables from Avnet. Developing and implementing mobile Direct Store Delivery (DSD) solutions with Windows Mobile devices and portable printers is our passion.
How Data Concepts selects partnerships:
We sell the "best of breed" hardware brands. Intermec and Motorola dominate the route accounting/DSD industry. We are well aware of Android and Apple devices being used in the industrial mobile arena. However, Microsoft Corporation has spent millions of dollars developing an integrated system including database to database transfer and web integration. Data integrity and security are more important for business than the latest app.
Data
Concepts has successfully passed the courses required for certification by
Intermec University. The new generation of Windows Embedded handheld computers
including the CN70 and CK71 are feature rich. Intermec's Smart Systems makes
provisioning handhelds a "no brainer". We utilize Intermec SDK's (Software
Development Kit) for seamless barcode scanning and Bluetooth printing.
Data Concepts has achieved AT&T Mobility Data Certification and is now a part of the AT&T Industry Alliance Program. Check back soon for our special configurations for 2012.
Bluestar is a leading distributor of IT products and services offering Networking Security, Unified Communications, Virtualization, Mobility and Embedded solutions.
Data
Concepts is working on a new "cloud" program for HMS and
MobilePDQ. Customer's will no longer need to install their own Windows Server
and SQL Server on-site. This business model is not for everyone but for small
and mid-size companies this solution will eliminate the need for on-site
technical services. HMS and Microsoft SQL Server will reside on a hosted server
rather than locally at the wholesale distributor location.
