The route salesperson enters future orders in the field and communicates back to the office or warehouse using the new Windows Mobile 2005 Intermec CN3. Orders are updated from the field using the optional built-in AT&T Wireless or Sprint or Verizon phone (WWAN) or 802.11b/g  (WiFi). The embedded 2D scanner speeds data entry. Bluetooth supports additional features including GPS or portable printers. A dock is included for charging and making a direct Activesync connection. MobilePDQ for presell distribution is included in this bundle.

The configuration includes battery pack, docking station, 128MB Mini-SD Card, holster, WM 5.0, 128MB RAM, 128MB ROM, SmartSystems(tm), Numeric (Num) keypad, 802.11 b/g (8x) and Bluetooth, with the EA11 2D Area Imager.

Options include Global Positioning Service (GPS) receiver, WWAN GSM/GPRS/EDGE (G2/G5) or CDMA/1xRTT/EVDO (CX) support. NOTE: Activation is required for WAN service.
